Local document organizer

Coming SoonWindows

A document organizer that stays on your Windows PC.

Cloud document platforms want the file first. 2cmd™ Ledger is Coming Soon: a local-first Windows utility for ordinary money and administrative documents, with review before any rename or move.

Organization should not require an upload

Household and small-office paperwork is sensitive because it is ordinary: statements, contracts, bills, receipts. Sending that stack to a cloud DMS to get nicer filenames is a poor trade.

Offline weekends, shared family PCs, and client documents all argue for a tool that works on the folder you already have.

How a local Ledger workflow is intended to work

Choose or drop a folder. Discovery and reading happen on that computer for PDF, JPG, PNG, and WEBP.

Ledger would suggest conservative filenames and destination folders for supported classes, then show a preview. You edit and confirm.

Intended v1 commercial shape: unlimited discovery and preview; the first 40 successfully applied files free; a paid local licence afterward; two-device activation; licence traffic without document content. No public price is listed yet.

Local processing

Local processing by default. No customer document upload in v1. That is a product boundary, not a marketing slogan: the files do not need to leave the PC for naming and filing.

Nothing changes until you approve it

Nothing changes until you approve it. Apply is journalled. The last completed transaction is meant to be undone safely. Uncertain fields are omitted or flagged.

What this is not

Not cloud storage, not a team workspace, not a sync service, and not a document-management platform. No watch folders. No Mac claim. No automatic updates promised here.

Coming Soon
